*This bike size is for riders 5'6" to 5'9" (168 to 176cm) approximately *FULLY TUNED and road tested by a bike expert, it needs no repair guaranteed and rides like new or almost. *Written on it "Tube spécial allégé Peugeot" meaning special light weight frame. Butterfly wheel nuts for quick removal. All original except front tire. Mafac Racer brakes. ADGA leather saddle. *Frame scratched on the back where a rack was probably attached, otherwise very nice paint. *Road Bikes are for those who want to go fast, training, racing, bike touring, go for long rides on bike paths and roads. *10 speed bikes are perfect to go just about anywhere on paved roads, whatever the conditions, 10 different ratios are more than enough for most people, except going up very steep hills, not recommended for bike touring on mountain roads with a loaded bike. *Peugeot bikes are classic high quality road bikes very popular in Canada in the 70`s and 80`s. *27 x 1 1/4 narrow racing style wheel and tire with little thread, also found on city bikes, typical of the 70`s and 80`s. |
